Tape durations vary, but most tapes are 2 hours or less. If your tape is longer than 2 hours, we will invoice you for additional footage in 2-hour increments.
If your videotape case is damaged, it must be repaired in order to process the tape. We will automatically repair your case as part of our process; there is no charge for this service. If your videotape ribbon is damaged, it will also require repair before processing. If repair involves removing any portion of your footage, we will contact you for approval prior to repair.
The transfer price for your custom order includes a Digital Copy and MemoryCloud access, where you can view, download, order copies, and save your memories to Google Photos.
For video transfers, the price also includes videotape repairs (case replacement and ribbon splicing), mold cleaning, and PAL format conversion.
Your original media and containers will be returned with your completed order.
You will receive your completed order in about 4 weeks (includes processing and return shipping) from the time we receive your media; it will include your originals and any Digital Copy, USB, or DVD you ordered.
When you digitize your memories with Capture, we want to make sure you are happy with the results. If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it to us for reprocessing.
